This is not the first meeting of these influential leaders with Lenny Curry, however, it is their first meeting since Curry won the Mayoral race in May of 2015. The topics on the agenda at the latest gathering covered several of the biggest issues currently facing Jacksonville. Crime and community safety, pension reform and voter education were all subjects addressed. Giselle and the Hispanic leaders hope to meet quarterly with the Mayor in order to keep the lines of communication open for future discussions.
